Greetings!!

Welcome to Mrs. Daccurso's website.  I am the 7th grade Social Studies teacher for Delta Community. :)

In 7th grade Social Studies, each student will have an opportunity to participate in an active learning environment that will encourage students to become well-rounded individuals as well as productive citizens of the community.

My mission as a Social Studies teacher is to support each learner in developing critical thinking skills and analytical perspectives of the past that will also empower life-long skills necessary for being successful in the 21st century.  Students will be provided with an education abundant in civic and contemporary resources, primary and secondary historical sources, 21st century skills for success, and a technology-based education focused on design thinking that will all collaboratively create a motivating learning environment.
